Brooklyn Thomas Isn’t Here out May 21 from Post Hill Press

I’m thrilled to announce that Brooklyn Thomas Isn’t Here is out May 21, 2024 from Post Hill Press.

It has been a journey, and I had become pretty desensitized to hearing the word no. From agents. From publishers. But then Haley Casey at Creative Media Agency said yes. And then Adriana Senior at the publishing company said yes. The three letter word is nicer, as much as I love to make use of the word no in my own life.

I’m excited to share Brooklyn’s story with readers. Inevitably, workplaces find their way into my writing. Work is such a big part of our lives, but it often isn’t a good experience. Toxic bosses, stupid policies, horrible clients, and unfair pay can be defining parts of the modern workplace. The patriarchy is alive and well at work. These themes are at play in my debut novel, but so is hope. Triumph. Resilience. Friendship. Kindness. Support. I like to think that these things are becoming more prevalent at work too, even if sometimes we have to look a little harder for them.

Brooklyn Thomas Isn’t Here is available for pre-orders now. Find it on Amazon, or through your local bookstore.
